Granblue Fantasy Season 2 Show the Latest Visual and Closing Song Information

The official website of "Granblue Fantasy the Animation Season 2" displays key visual information and the closing theme song today. Music actress Moka Kamishiraishi's project, Adieu will bring a ending song entitled "Ao".

Seiyuu who will appear in this anime project include:

     Nao Touyama as Lyria
     Rie Kugimiya as Vyrn
     Miyuki Sawashiro as Catalyst
     Hiroaki Hirata as Rackam
     Yukari Tamura as Io Euclase
     Rie Tanaka as Rosetta
     Keiji Fujiwara as Eugen
     Emiri Katou as Sierokarte

Keiji Fujiwara returned to fill Eugen's voice, after Kazuhiro Yamaji replaced him in the first season. Fujiwara previously underwent medical treatment so he had to enter the hiatus phase. 

The slogan used in this second season is, "Again this time, towards the vast blue sky ...". This season will showcase Gran's latest adventures, and here is a synopsis:

“Anak laki-laki itu melihat angkasa dan tertuju pada gugusan bintang, terhubung pada nasib dan kehidupan seorang anak perempuan berambut biru yang jatuh dari langit. Pertemuan mereka untuk mengarungi langit menuntun mereka kepada rekan-rekan mereka dan sebuah kapal terbang menuju kepada tujuan masing-masing.
Keduanya memperdalam ikatan mereka sambil menghindari kejaran pasukan kerajaan dan menghadapi primal beast. Meski demikian, perjalanan mereka masihlah sangat panjang. Sang anak laki-laki dan perempuan pun melanjutkan ke perjalanan mereka yang berikutnya bersama teman-temannya.”
Yui Umemoto (Cardfight !! Vanguard G) is the second season director of the series to be produced by the MAPPA studio. Kiyoko Yoshimura is the new writer who will compile the story script. Fumuhide Sai became his character designer. Tsutomu Narita and Yasunori Nishiki returned to become music composers.

The first season of its own Granblue Fantasy aired for the first time on April 1, 2017. The anime ran for 13 episodes plus an extra episode that appeared along with the last DVD & BD volume on October 25, 2017. The first season was directed by Ayako Kurata and Yuuki Itoh in the A-1 Pictures studio.
