The title used for the third season is "Dungeon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka III" and is planned to air in the summer of 2020. For OVA will be distributed on January 29, 2020.

Then in April 2017, the adaptation of this series spin-off entitled "Danmachi Sword Oratoria" was aired and J.C Staff also became the animation studio.
