Anime Staff YU-NO Releases Latest Information Regarding Episode 26.5

The official website of the anime adaptation of Elf's visual novel, "Kono Yo no Hate de Koi o utau Shoujo YU-NO" features the latest information regarding episode 26.5. The episode, which is planned for release on December 26th, will be titled "Mugen no Heiretsu Sekai".

In this latest episode, Takuya and Yu-No are in the "Tree of Vrinda" and they can see many parallel worlds that might be going on. From many of these worlds, there are figures from Mitsuki, who cannot escape his tragic death. To save Mitsuki from the fate of his death, Takuya entered a certain event. PV for episode 26.5:

The project site YU-NO announced in May that their series will get the latest episodes in the third Blu-ray disc box, if the first disc box gets ordered more than 1000 times. Luckily, the order exceeded that number. The third Blu-ray disc box will be filled with episodes 18 through 26 of the anime adaptation. The packaging will be wrapped with original illustrations which will also be bundled with a 32-page book. Synopsis:

Takuya Arima is a high school student whose father, a historian who was involved in various studies, disappeared for some time. During summer vacation Takuya receives a package from his lost father, along with a letter with information about life from various parallel worlds. The first time, Takuya did not take the information seriously, but then he realized that he had a tool that could make him move to an alternative dimension. Is his father still alive, until now? If so, where is he?

Tetsuo Hirakawa (Zero kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho) acted as a director and composed the anime series in a studio feel. Kazuya Tanaka (Highschool of the Dead) has the role of voice director. Evan Call (Violet Evergarden), Keishi Yonao (Dies Irae), and Ryuu Takami acted as music composers. Mai Ootsuka (Non Non Biyori) was given the role of a character designer.
